Hello, I've just been trying to remove Filezilla from the startup, so I went into Msconfig and apparently it's already disabled?

It come's up automatically on startup though, is this something that's hard coded into the program?

Also - I seem to remember the MSConfig looking different to this screen, with options to only enable the MS services on start up and lot's of check boxes, whats happened to that menu?

Cheers!

That functionality has been moved to the task manager. I am still running Windows 8 not 8.1 and what You posted is what I see in Task manager except that mine has the Task manager in the title.

This is what I see under startup in Windows 8. When I click to start Task manager like what You show.

Did You also look under the services tab for Filezilla and disable there too?

Can you uninstall Filezilla from Programs and Features in the Control Panel?

Good Luck

Roger

Cheers Roger, but how would you go about disabling everything bar MS services with this set up?

When I hit the "Classic Shell" add-on start button and type msconfig I get the box like I posted above titled "System Configurtion" and when I click the services tab I can click as shown below

I do not have Windows 8.1 has it changed that much from Windows 8?

Good Luck

Roger

Sorry about that!

I was using Start is Back and classic shell before I updated to 8.1, I've told myself I'm going to TRY and make an effort to get used to this thing though  <_<
