Hi fellow geeks and techies!  I've been in love with computers since "back in the day"...the long ago days of Trysdos and MSDos (otherwise identified as the early 1980s).  Wanna laugh?--For memory, my first system consisted of a Tandy Radio Shack computer and 3 floppy-drive bays wired together.  Later I ran a Unix system for a number of years, then learned to partition my hard drives and run a "split" system utilizing both Unix and MSDos--thanks to a guy named Bob Snap, who I believe invented that technique.  Back in those days there was almost no ready-made software that would serve a small oil and gas exploration and production business, so I wrote my own using something called filePro.

These days I enjoy digital scrapbooking, which involves lots of photo manipulation, uploading and downloading of large files to various book publishes on the net.  As long as my internet connection works properly, I'm happy to let the younger folks handle the technical problems and write the apps...but alas, I have encountered a malicious coder, thus my first appearance here in the Bleeping Computer forums....  Here's to the future!   Signed wondernanny1
