For a while now, I have had the problem of the cursor sometimes not appearing in the bar when I start a picture download on Firefox.  I can go ahead and type whatever I want and the letters appear, just nothing to mark where my cursor is.

I notice it happening sometimes and at other times I have a normal cursor.  It has been this way for several updates.  I think rebooting the computer brings the cursor back but that is bothersome.

I am having some malware issues in my computer which is being worked on in another topic, I don't know if there is any connection.

I am thinking that it might be some kind of hotkey issue, because my cats tend to walk on the keyboard and it is no telling what combination of keys they may be pressing.

If anyone has a clue, thanks.

Please complete your malware issue before attempting to work other issues. You could undo something you helper might have you do or compound the issue after the fact. Once your malware issue is resolved if you still have cursor issues, PM any moderator hand have them reopen this topic.
