Hi, I have to problems that may or may not be connected.

I have Broadband but when I start up a message appears on the screen asking me which service I want to dial up to - although I click to cancel it keeps reappearing.

Also, although Broadband works ok I have no dialling tone either on the phone or the computers inbuilt dial up modem.

I would be very grateful for any thoughts on what is becoming a very frustrating problem.

Go to Control Panel then Internet Options then the tab that shows Connections. When in here click on Never Dial a Connection then click Apply if active then OK and exit out, then just to be sure reboot the computer.

After reboot your problem should be solved.
