I recently tried to use this to check my computer for intrusions. Well, it fixed me good alright, my computer is still not working properly and internet explorer refuses to open gmail. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so is there an easy fix? I did a system reload from back before I tried this product but it did not fix ie. I think it removed some part of the program or eliminated one that I need. thanks.

Edit: URL to potentially deceptive website in topic title obfuscated, to prevent anyone from inadvertently getting infected. Please do not visit that site without adequate malware protection enabled.~ Animal

Hello -

Download Security Check by Screen317 from HERE
* Save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
Note: If a security program requests permission to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

Thank You -

If you think the FixMeStick may have quarantined an incorrect file, you can always undo the quarantine (which will essentially undo all its actions). You can find the undo quarantine tab at the bottom of the screen when you run the FixMeStick application.

If you are still having issues, create a ticket at our support site or send an email to support@fixmestick.com and our engineers will be able to assist you with your problem.

Thank you.
