Reinstalled windows on my sister's laptop, Inspiron N5010. however we cannot locate the drivers for the keyboards custom functions or the network controller. I found some on the dell site, there were about 8 to chose from, but  they don't seem to work. Can anybody help me?

Hi

Inspirion N5010 came with different wireless adapters. To find the correct driver, we need the "Hardware ID" of the device. Please perform the below steps to collect that.

1. Open RUN dialogue by pressing Win key and R together.

2. Type Msinfo32.exe and press Enter. System information tool will pop up.

3. Choose File --> Save and attach the file with next reply ( More reply options --> Attach files).

Hi

If the file size is larger than 512KB , you won't be able to upload directly. Please use a free file hosting service and post the download link here.

Example :

Hi

Your wireless adapter seems to be an "Intel" one. Here is the latest driver for "Windows 7 32 bit".
