Situation: On my iMac running 10.5.8, using Safari 5.0.6, I want to email a 30mb WAV file (1 song) from iTunes 10.
Methods used: I opened the .wav file in iTunes & copied it. Went into safari & my Yahoo mail to compose a message, copied the file into the message body, & it simply gave the location of the file on my machine. I then copied the file onto my desktop & it showed up as a .wav file. I exited Yahoo, went back into my mail to compose a new message & it again gave the location on my machine.
Then I went into the mail program on my iMac, composed a message with the .wav file copied into it, tried to send it to my other email address & twice got an error message saying the smtp server could not send the file.
This is a song I got from a CD & put in my iMac iTunes so I didn't have to insert the CD each time to hear one song.
So...is 30mb too big to email, or is there an iTunes problem that won't allow me to email a song from my machine for fear I might be a pirate, or what?
