Just reading about Cryptolocker Hijack Program. Post #1427 involves a response from Grinler where he provides links to BC Forum info.

I can click on this link http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/446111/new-accdfisa-protection-center-ransomware-called-malware-protection/

But when I try this link http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/u/771599/accdfisa/

I get "Sorry, you do not have permission for that!"

Don't understand as this was posted by the Administrator. Please clarify.

Thank You

That particular link goes to a now banned members profile. Specifically someone who registered as accdfisa. This is why you get the "Sorry, you do not have permission for that!" message. If you ever see a link formatted like that and it has a number and a member type name such as /771599/accdfisa/ or /12345678/thismyname/ Those are links to member profiles. Hover over your avatar and you'll see how yours is formatted. If those type of URL's become unreachable and you get a message like that, likely some administrative action has been taken between the time it was posted. And when you attempt to click on it and get the error.

The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.

Sorry about that. I updated the original post in the cryptolocker topic with the links to the posts.

@Animal,

Thank you for the in-depth explanation.

@Grinler

As there is much interest in this topic I wanted to absorb as much info as possible to stay abreast of developments, past or present.

Thanks for updating.
