I volunteered to help fix an acquaintance's laptop. It had numerous infection issues which were resolved with a run of malwarebytes and combofix. After I'd finished running the two, however, I began encountering an issue in which - when not in safe mode (It works relatively fine, if a little slow, in safe mode) - the computer rapidly begins bogging down, and eventually freezes completely. No error, just "(Not Responding)" on any active windows and eventually a complete freeze.

I'm at my wit's end. Any advice would be amazing. I'm sorry for not posting this with some logs or something, but I'm not quite sure how to do that. Thank you again for your time. Edit: Vista 32bit
