Windows 8 shipps with IE10 wich may or may not be updated to 11. IE10 has trouble with some web pages not loading correctly. To fix this. Open Internet explorer and press "F12" this will bring up the developer panel. Look for the "Browser Mode" settings and change it to IE9. Change the "Document Mode" to IE9 as well. Press the f12 button again to close the developer panel. Web pages should load normally now. Make sure you keep Java up to date. If you still can not load web pages correctly you may have a virus or other application blocking web pages.
