Am I infected? I am getting a lot of spam emails on my outlook! These spam emails are coming from just random fishy looking emails as well as emails of my colleagues which are fed in outlook address.

If your Hotmail/Outlook email account has been hacked or spoofed (email address forged as the sender), you need to change or reset your Microsoft account password if using Hotmail/Outlook. I suggest you create a strong password. Sometimes just doing that will resolve the issue.

Please note that Microsoft also has a new private secure online form to report various Microsoft account issues. See Microsoft Account Support. At the bottom of this support page is a note that says "If you can't sign in with your Microsoft account, create a temporary account at https://signup.live.com.

Then as a precaution, perform a full scan with your anti-virus and anti-malware tools like Microsoft Safety Scanner and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (instructions included in that link).
