Hi ! I stumbled across this site a few months ago but this is my first day posting on the forums.....

I'm a young 50 years old, living in Leicester, UK. My hobbies are theatre (not watching or acting, but
actually building and painting the stage sets! ) , also music ( anything from Opera through to Pink Floyd
with a bit of Doris Day thrown in on the side! ).

My other interest is distributed computing, as you will see from another posting in the General Board
titled 'Berkeley Open Infrastructure For Networked Computing'.
It is a great way for people to actually do something worthwhile with their PCs. And it involves no
personal effort at all from you!

If you are interested at all in this aspect of computing, why not pop over to BOINCUK.COM / Team Lookers and have a quick look at the world
of 'BOINCing' - there is also an active forum within the site with a great bunch of guys ready and willing
to answer any queries you may have.....

Thanks for the warm welcome, Matt !

As I've indicated in my other post, I'm no expert on Windows having only had a fleeting
aquaintance with '98 before moving straight up to XP Home, but I will pass on any hints or
tips I pick up that will help anyone here........

Welcome to Bleeping Computer. A warm, friendly community where we all help each other.

Oh and BTW although your sig is wonderful, it is a bit to big according to board rules. :flowers:

It is 360 x 217.
And boards rules state that signatures can not be any larger than 500 x 90.
It will have to be re-sized.

Have A Great Day!

Apologies for going against the rules. ( and on my first day too ! )

Most forums have a size limit for avatars but not for signatures. So I have modified my signature.
(but it still gives a link to www.boincuk.com)

Thats ok like you said you are new here.
No worries.

Actually it was fine just to large. ;)
As long as it was not linking to a commercial site. And I don't believe it was.
