choose the program you want to use to open this file

Friends vista machine.  When selecting any .exe, this is what we get:  "choose the program you want to use to open this file"


so far all I've done is a eset online scan [cleaned 6 issues]

It's probably malware or a virus.


Here's some fixes (after you clean the pc!)
