I've been using Outlook Express on my computer for many years. Suddenly the last few days it won't forward emails. They just sit in the Outbox. I delete them from the Outbox when the don't send. I called Verizon Fios, my internet provider, and they checked all the settings and found no problems. I can forward emails when I log into my account on Verizon's webmail web site so the problem is not with Verizon. Any suggestions?

Do you get any sending error message, and do you have any virus scanners?

Microsoft Security Essentials is installed on the computer. I do get a pop-up error message. I am at work now and do not have access to my computer. I will post details of the error message later today. Thanks.
