Windows Key-HP Laptop. Possible Corrupted Recovery Partition

I have the same problem with my hp g71 laptop (cant read the sticker anymore). I understand you can download an iso file that has the os for windows (but you need the key to get a copy) since mine didnt come with a disk and I think my recovery partition may be corrupted.am I out of luck??

What makes you think the recovery partition is corrupted?

Did you try a tool such as Belarc Advisor? http://belarc.com/

Install, run it and there will be a section in the results which lists product keys.

What is going on with this computer that you need to use the system recovery?


Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
