This has been going on for the last month and I'm not sure wheat changed to set it back.

Im using IE 10 windows seven. Homepage is set to google. After doing a search and google I I click on any of the link of the results from the search, it goes to tht page but always in a new tab. I would rather have these new pages open in same tab so I can easily go back using back button to the results of search. any idea what may have changed and how to I get it back to the way I'm used to?
