I looked for this topic but didn't see it. I keep losing my audio. I perform a system restore, get my audio back, then it disappears again. I go into control panel...audio...and see no" audio device installed". How do I kick this thing?

Uninstall the current audio drivers...then reinstall them from either the Drivers CD or the website of the component/system manufacturer.
