Banging head against a wall with this one, wondered if anyone else can help?

Its a Stylus SX130 Epson, basically the print quality is shocking, no matter how many head/nozzle cleans i do. It doesnt recognise the print cartridges, saying they are not genuine and when it does finally recognise them it says they are empty even tho they have just been replaced!!!

Any ideas, or should i just cut my losses and buy a decent printer (2 years old now).

yeah, bin it... these printers are meant to wrought you on ink anyhow, that's why they are so cheap.

Thats what I initially thought. We've since discovered that it may be the copy cartridges we are using, but even if we did buy geniune - itd still use loads of ink! we may as well spend the money on a decent printer.

Lasers are the best buy for the money, IMO...whether monocrome or color.  Inkjets are money-makers by the developers.
