Hi

I wonder if someone outthere can helpme with the operating software for this webcam

I have a PC with a vertically mounted cd reader and it will not accept the mini cd supplied with this web cam

I cannot find this software on the internet,Would it be possible to download this and send as an email attachment

or if someone knows where this ca be found I would be grateful.

This nearly worked The computer found the disc but it would not autorun, If I can get rid of my current dose of flu and can think again

I will try to extract the files, I did send an email to the manufacturers support email address but as normal I have had no reply.

You should be able to browse the disk and find the setup program. I looked at every link I could find for Wanscam, and all of them were in Chinese, and several were broken. Frankly, I would think you would be ahead to save yourself some grief, cut your losses and buy a webcam with better support. Say, Logitech, perhaps?

The link kindly supplied by dpunisher got me to a site with a collection of downloads all in English when I had looked to see which ones I needed and returned to the site it was just in Chinese, as far as I can tell any of wanscam sites is in the same chinese, my guess they have a problem and may well return at some time.

Meanwhile I have checked the disc again with computer on its side and I do seem to have all the programmes on it, so when I get chance I will take the disc to a friend and we can copy to a big disc.
