Well basicly whenever the ocmputer is left to idel for awhile it becomes unresposive. I have access to the mouse but programms, firefox, task manager etc. will not open.

Under power managment I have all options having to do with "sleep" set to never, the hard disk should not turn off, no password needed upon waking up, the display should not turn off.

I have updated bios & a few other drivers in an attempt to solve the issue.

After sitting idel this is what an open task manger shows:

Normally I have to hard restart the computer and go through a chdsk or start up repair afterwords.

However 2 times now I have been able to continue after an idel by either clicking "show processes from all useres" in the task mangaer or by pressing "Prt Sc" basically making it do something.

So the question is "Any idea why it may be hanging up after some idel time?".

thx

Please download and install Speccy. Once it is installed and opened, please go to File then Publish Snapshot. Post the resulting link in your next reply.

Have you verified that all your drivers are updated?
