I found this when trying to update/edit my Google profile:

var __chd__ = {'aid':11079,'chaid':'www_objectify_ca'};(function() { var c = document.createElement('script'); c.type = 'text/javascript'; c.async = true;c.src = ( 'https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://z': 'http://p') + '.chango.com/static/c.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(c, s);})();

I seem to be able to remove it from the profile piece I have edited when I do not include the mailto link.

Added to this, I am struggling with websites opening -  usually when I am busy in google - even if I am not logged in. (http://fixbonus.com/lp5/ usually opens ( I might have used this site before), but http://www.seekbang.com/za_main.php?kwd=mtr_za_0210 and another site, which I never used before also opens. Seekbang opens from http://kaizentraffic.com/country/mediat2.html. This weekend http://www.surfaccuracy.com/feed_default_redir.v2.php opened once, but then requested a password. It seems these sites opens from google and twitter(like.

I have run AVG, Lavasoft - Adaware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. The latter sometimes find objects and delete it, but after several scans and clearing the cache and cookies, I am still having this problem.

Can anybody help?

Are you using WordPress and what is your operating system?

Hi,

I do have a blog on Wordpress, but have not been on it for a while - the last time I wanted to use my profile, my password seemed to be wrong.

The OS is XP

Hello, it can also be a Firefox add on.. if using, so..

•Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button (circular arrow).
•Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":
•Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

In FireFox it may be the Add ons/Plugins.
Try disabling them one at a time and see which one was at fault.

How to disable extensions and plugins

Keeping your third-party plugins up to date

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.
Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  • Flush DNS
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.
Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.

.
.
.
ADW Cleaner

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Delete.
  • Confirm each time with Ok.
  • You will be prompted to restart your computer. A text file will open after the restart.
  • Please post the contents of that logfile with your next reply.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

OK, if you get a chance to post the topic do so. It usually takes a day or two for the reply.

Hi boopme,

My hard drive crashed, I had to get a new hard drive. So it seems I'm rid of the bugs.... I'll post if it seems otherwise, but I could not yet retrieve data from the crashed drive.
