Ukraine spam bots are annoying...

They kept spamming my Forum no matter what IPs I blocked, so I blocked Ukraine from accessing my website, and here's the outcome of that.

Actually spammers now use VPN or Proxy to spam and hide their own IP address. They would just switch to another country and spam again.

One way is to manually approve first 3-4 posts of new users. Usually spammers spam on first post so you can just ban them there.

You can also use many anti-spam addons/plugins for your forum.

Not these people, they seem to just change their Email domain when I block them, but they're always in Ukraine.

Ukraine has been a problem area for many years.

Many of the O17 - DOMAIN HIJACKERS entries we saw in Hijackthis logs added by WareOut, an early DNSChanger, were resolved to Ukraine.
