Explorer.exe crashes whenever I use it to locate and run a video file in VLC. I have the latest version of VLC, Win XP pro, SP 3. I've tried other admin. profiles. It happens everytime I drag a video file to VLC or double click to run the file. I''ve uninstalled / reinstalled VLC. I've repaired the Windows XP OS. Issue remains.  I'm new to the forum and looking for a resolution to this issue. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'd uninstall VLC...and use WMP to open the file.

See if same occurs.
