empty disk drive has used space

hello,i have recently noticed that a disk partition which i have never put anything on has some used space

this appears when i click "Properties":

but when i open the disk drive it shows nothing at all

 

a scan with spybot shows this:

i am using windows 7 ultimate if that matters

Have you checked for hidden files/folders on that drive? Maybe a RECYCLER foldet is there? Is System Restore on fire that drive as well?

Have you checked for hidden files/folders on that drive? Maybe a RECYCLER foldet is there? Is System Restore on fire that drive as well?

 

i have the "show hidden files" option picked in folder options,how do i know if a recycler folder is there?

Windows will create Recycle Bin on every hard disk or hard disk partition it can see.

The above folder is actually hidden system folder.

You can see it in Windows Explorer if you enable system files/folders view.

 

Nothing to worry about.
