Want to get to Properties and change monitor aspect ratio. Right clicking on desktop isn't  helping

I think this will help, go to control panel, then to personalization.  should show display settings and click on it.  You can change several aspects of the monitor.  Hope this helps.

THanks for answering, but the personalization section doesn't seem to include aspect ratio adjustments, unless screen resolution changes can affect that.  Not working so far.

What is the make and model of the monitor?

There is a difference between the aspect ratio and the resolution.

With your new monitor connected, iff you click on an open space on your desktop and choose the Resolution option, what is the maximum resolution listed?

How is this monitor being connected to the computer, VGA, HDMI?

Maximum res offered is 1920 X 1080. It's not DVI; in the back of the monitor it goes into RGB In (Doesn't say on back of computer). Will download speccy, but right clicking doesn't offer paste option. P.S. I'm having trouble connecting to speccy
