Hey guys just installed a HD 5850 series video card.. so i got my HD tv plugged into the HDMI port on the video card, and my VGA cable plugged into my I3 motherboard.. However nothing is showing up on my vga monitor anymore, only on the HD TV. I went into my resolution and it's not detecting the VGA monitor.. what do i do guys.. please don't tell me i need an HD monitor :/ If it's not possible to use the VGA on my motherboard anymore.. am I able to get a dvi-vga converter and do it that way? I'm assuming that's whats on the back of this 5800 card is dvi, or is it something else?

G'day mate, once you install a graphics card in your system, the onboard graphics is automatically disabled. You will have to plug the monitor to the graphics card only and a DVI to VGA adapter does exist where it can purchased for a few dollars.
