I've been having this problem for about a week now, my monitor has been freezing and pixelating. At first it would happen while I was browsing with Firefox, but I was able to run everything else, so I would just do a hard reboot to continue working. Now it's doing it all the time, and last night it started freezing while the machine was booting up. I tried booting in safe mode and ran an MBAM scan and removed the problem files it picked up,but like I said, it froze during the reboot.
I'm running windows XP on an emachines tower. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Can you take a picture of this issue happening, as I am leaning towards a possible failing video card.
