"Getting constant Blue screens, computer has a mind of its own and reboots constantly sometimes rebooting and sometimes a blank screen that wont even reboot after numerous tries to start and restart computer.  Took it to a local repair shop 3 times has had the same issue after a couple days every time. The blue screens descriptions are all different and some are driver related."

What kind of HP is this, can you provide the exact model number or a link to product on HP.com?

I am suspecting that your computer is having issues with Windows 7, due to the legacy hardware.

This has been an ongoing issue since July which at the time I had the original Vista operating system on the PC.  I have taken it to a repair shop 4 times, 3 reformats and the third time taking it in they installed Windows 7 with no changes to the blue screen or auto reboots

Please download and run http://www.memtest.org after burning it to a CD and going into your BIOS to change the boot order. Let it go over night, and report its findings. If you have done this, then please ignore.

Also have you ran the Hitatchi Drive Fitness Test?

What memtest am I supposed to download?  There are quite a few.

No have not ran the Hitatchi Drive fitness test.  Not exactly computer savvy so you would have to explain the BIOS and how to change the boot order.

You would download this one:

http://www.memtest.org/download/5.01/memtest86+-5.01.iso.zip

Here is the ISO for the Drive Fitness Test:

http://www.hgst.com/hdd/support/downloads/dft32_v416_b00.iso

Going into the BIOS usually involves a key being depressed such as F2, F10, F12, Del, or ESC. You will have to watch the on screen display to determine what key to press. In there you would try and find the boot order, and that is where you change it.

What am I changing in the boot order?

I downloaded memtest and burned it to a cd.

I am currently in safe mode with networking since the computer now shuts off every 10 mins.

It prompts me to press F1 for setup when I reboot but says nothing about BIOS, so still not sure if or how im going into the BIOS.

When you reboot does it have any other keys to depress for like boot options?

In the BIOS it would be under Advanced BIOS Options.
