Hi everyone,

I am new to the community and hope you guys can help me out. Computers are sort of my hobby and usually I do not have a problem recommending one to a friend. However, since I am in Europe and a friend from the US asked me for help, I was wondering if you could help me out and recommend a laptop (I am not familiar with the US market).

The laptop is supposed to be a pure office laptop (no gaming but watching videos, working with MS word, using internet etc.).
Things that would be nice:

-display smaller than 15.6 inch and rather light (should be easy to carry around a lot)
- bright and colorful display
- steady keyboard (for a lot of tipping)
- integrated webcam
- at least 300 GB
- good battery life (4 h +)
- decent speakers
- should not run hot

Price range: up to $800

Thanks a lot in advance. Any advice is very welcome :)

If anyone has another idea, please let me know.

Thanks :)

I believe the suggestion made by gaby13 is a solid choice as it meets your criteria and Asus is well know for their solid reliable laptops.
