What was wrong with Control Panel > Add Remove Programs?

It seems that Silverlight can be a big problem to uninstall. Microsoft suggests their Fixit tool. IMO, unless Silverlight is causing problems, I would leave it alone. Netflix is currently the only major product that needs it. I have Silverlight on my PC and it has never been used. But I know trying to get rid of it is a nuisance. BTW, Revo doesn't work on Silverlight.

You are the first one to ever come here wanting to remove Silverlight. The other times it came up the users wanted to update so they could use Netflix and even that was a pain in the neck. So if you are just trying to remove it because it is taking up space, leave it alone. Removing it is more trouble than it is worth.
