Hey all,

Just a short intro...I found these forums through google...I'm bored at work a lot and figured I'd find a place to chat about general 'puter stuff with others and now you have me!

I've been a computer guy for a long time now...and I really enjoy building new machines for people, and modding cases (comes from my obsession with working on, and personalizing, cars).

Anyway...Cheers!

Oh...on a side note, i find it painfully ironic that the spell checker here doesn't recognize "google" as a real word.

It is only recently that Google has changed from being a proper name/trade name, to a verb. I imagine it will take some time for this new usage to find its way into formal or standard English from the confines of argot. Certainly this linguistic phenomenon reflects the immense influence Google has had on the internet, and not just in the search engine wars.
