Just purchased tablet and volume is extremely low on back speaker.  Headphone work ok.  Other Android forums imply that the issue is with android 4.1.1.  Have not downloaded a volume app as these appear(from forums)  to only work on older androir versions.   Any help appreciated

Since you just bought it I would suggest working with the vendor while still under warranty. Anything we might suggest could potentially void any warranty you have remaining.
