updates won't download

I have 3 important updates That won't download I keep getting error code 066a If I try to download from start menu my pc will run all night and I'll have to shut the power down to make it stop and I can't find no help online without buying something. please help

Are these .Net Framework updates?

 

If they are not, what exactly are they?

step 1 didn't work it couldn't repair it step 2 I'm afraid to uninstall because I'm not sure of how to reinstall

If you use the link in step2 you will find that the first aspect of this provides an automatic Fix it.  All you have to do is click on it.

that didn't work either and it wouldn't let me uninstall either. So, I'm lost I got on microsoft website with no luck
