Trying to access my laptop via my profile but I receive a message stating that my profile is not recognised. I can't get into my laptop.

I'd appreciate any help or ideas'. Thank-you in advance

Can you start up in Safe Mode and access the administrator account to create another profile?

You can do this via hitting F8 just after post screen where the RAM and detected devices are displayed.

Thank-you Bleepin Madman. I have managed to get in as you advised. I was just a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to see the same content as the last profile.

Thanks again

So can you access your other profile via regular mode, or did you create another account and moved important files over to the new profile?
