Hi, I was planning to upgrade my Laptop with an additional 4 gigs of RAM (it only has 2 as of the moment).

Here is the laptop:

And here is the RAM module I brought:

I tried installing it into my second RAM slot but my laptop BSOD while starting windows. The original stick works fine in both slots and by itself. However the new stick will BSOD even if it's on it's own, I'm starting to suspect I've either brought the wrong module or the stick is faulty. Can someone clear this up for me?

Have you contacted the manufacturer of the new RAM module yet?

It should work, from what I see.
