I get a Norton popup asking me if I want to "Open or save Load.js from loadm.exelerator.com" when I try to access a website.  Has anyone seen this, too, and can you tell me if it's legit, or indicates spyware/malware?  A google search produces little, and what is out there seems very recent.

Please download AdwCleaner and run it.
 
An image like the one below will open, click on Search.

Once the search is complete a log similar to the image below will be displayed.

Minuize this image so that you can see the first image, then click on Delete.  
 
You will receive a message telling you that all programs will be close so that the infections can be removed.  Click on Ok.
 
The scan will now start.  When it is finished it will present a log of what was deleted.  Please post this log.
 
 
 
How to post the log.
 
Right click on the Start orb startorb_zps06e1f985.png
 
Then click on Open Windows Explorer.
 
Click on the C: drive.

Scroll down till you find AdwCleaner [S1] and double click on the log to open it.

Click the pointer in the middle of the log, then press the Ctrl and the A keys together to highlight the log.
 
Right click on the log and choose Copy.
 
When you make your next post right click in the post and choose Paste.

The ONLY time it shows up is when I am playing Internet Spades. 

Windows XP, SP3, IE 8, Java NOT installed.

The IP belongs to exelator.com (aka exelator.net/.biz), which was implicated in malvertisements
