My dad clicked on a link in his e-mail alerting him a a whatapp voicemail or something, and that is where I'm thinking the malware troubles began
He was at one point infected with Antivirus Security Pro, so I followed this guide to the best of my ability:
That seems to have taken care of a lot oo the malware, between MBAM, SAS, and MSE scans a significant amount has been removed.... But I believe some malware still exists
After following that guide, I've ran MBAM and SuperAntiSpyware complete scans, and they come clean.
MSE continues to find malware, last complete scan detected Trojan:JS/Medfos.A
Also at every inital boot I get a rundll32 error
Also, and what convinces me I still have a big problem, is that despite not using internet explorer for anything, I continually have iexplorer.exe showing up in my task manager:
I've tried running MBAM & SAS in safe mode, safe mode with netwokring, etc and they still don't detect anything.
any help/advice is much appreciated.
