I ran the SmitFraud fix, I got the download from the elephantboy site....I didn't see anything about a warning (running SmitFraud in safemode on a noninfected computer will remove the desktop background), I made sure I read over it twice...NOW i have no desktop background, the laptop starts really really slow, it takes a couple of minutes for the icon's to appear. I've tried applying a new background, but the screen flashes really quick and stays white, but the icons are still there. Aside from that, when I turn the laptop off that's when I see the desktop background that I tried to apply in the beginning. Could someone please offer me some assistance in this matter. I think I might still have spyware on my computer.

Before running the SmitFraud fix, I was infected with spyware of course, and I updated my Norton Anti-virus and firewall, downloaded ZoneAlarm, System Mechanic, and Windows Defender (all found nothing).
