How are you all On sunday night i got infected with ukash virus . Okay i am an old man but not that old .It is a shake down virus telling you that you have  been caught watching forbiddden porn or downloading pirated software ,music etc .For me in Canada it was the rcmp police branch .So i when to my wife;s computer cause it froze my computer with these pictures of old cops on it .I did a search and found out what i had to know . I had a feeling that something wasn;t right when it told me if i gave them a 100.00 bucks it would all go away and they would unfreeze my page ?If not i could go to jail for 7 years wow ! . Anyway i try the old f8 trick wouldn;t let me in . WORRIED NOW ! So the next morning i put a usb stick in my computer that had malwarebytes on it and did a scan . IT took some off . Now when i booted my computer all i got was the green mountains and blue skies of the microsoft desktop . None of my settings . SO i when into safe mode again with the usb in the computer and held down control alt delete and up can the task master and the usb was on it so i clicked and got into my files and folders and i had mazilla browser on it and i could get on to the net with it . I download spyhunter and i did a scam and told me i had  2006 infections and virus on it and click button to fix so i did and i would cost me 50.00 and tax to fix it . Well to make a long story short i got rid of it with malwarebytes the pro addition that cost like 25 dollars for a lifetime So what i am saying is malwarebytes in my humble opinion is the real deal  Hope this helps                  Rob !
