I have a Frankenstein computer. I learned though trial and error on how to do things. This is what I have. A Dell that I raped and inserted parts from other computers, running xp home, put a lil more ram in in it, as well as a new cd drive and diff hard drive as slave. The slave drive registers, and I can see it, but throws an error message at me. the error message is

D:\ Is not accessible. The wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert  (volume serial number: ) into drive:\D

K i know im not the best at this, but i dunno what to do. I need this comp to work for my gf school. It is so slow right now, I dunno. any advice?

The Speccy link...is more important than the posted data.  Both are requested because together they provide a more complete picture of the system and problems that it may have.

I have downloaded it and let it run, and it seems that Speccy gets stuck. I.E. right now it has been running over an hour, and will not let me publish snapshot, seems like it is still running for the indicator in the bottom left corner. Thats why I just tried to copy and paste it.

Copy/paste is of no value, the link to the data is the important part.

Please try it again, following all directions as given. If an popup appears saying that something is wrong...just click OK. The snapshot will proceed.
