Windows 8 updates

Are there updates I should avoid when installing Windows updates? Some people say some updates should be unchecked before updating Windows..

Make sure you don't allow any non-MS updates.

For whatever reason Windows will try once in a while push some updates for your video card, sound chip, etc.

All others should be fine.
