windows explorer stops working

I am unable to open control panel, my computer, photos, music, etc.

Can you reboot into safe mode?

What Antivirus and Antimalware programs have you attempted to run so far ?

I can boot into safe mode.

 

I have run Malwarebytes, AVG, Norton, Speedy PC, Avira

In Safe Mode can you access Windows Explorer unlike in normal Windows mode?  What is your active antivirus/internet secruity out of that list and which are just scanners you have used?

I use the Norton Security Suite provided by Comcast.

 

I can boot into safe mode, but windows explorer does not work there either.
