Hello,

Please help,

The rogue Personal internet security 2011 was roughly removed from my in-law's computer some time ago.

I have now followed the Lawrence Abrams's guide to clean the XP sp3 Asus A7n8x computer and taken off the (tampered) Endpoint protection, mySLQ, and reinstall IE8, MSE. The computer now work and access internet OK except having trouble updating Hitman pro and some time MSE (no problem updating Mbam and Super Anti Spyware however).

Despite my trying the Security Center is still not in the tray but when I start it manually, it indicates there is more than one firewall existed. When I disable the Windows firewall, the PIS20011 name appears. So the remnant is still there and affecting the computer connectivity.

BTW, all the scannings from various anti malware and anti viruses are clean.
