Hi there.

When I click on any shortcut to get onto the web.....the page shows up on the bar on the bottom...but is minimized to a little dot ....way up in the left hand corner of my screen.

I have tried to mouse over and pull it opened but it won't work. I know I can click on the page at the bottom and click on "maximize"...but would really like it to open maximized when I click on it normally. Would someone be able to help me fix this problem ?

I have a Dell Demension 2350, 80 gb hd, 512 ram.

Thanks for reading this.

Hi, I read

When I click on any shortcut to get onto the web.....

I thought, i must Startmenu -->Connect to:-->(slide-out menu) select: "myISP.com" (of the two listed)-->(dialog box)" Dial"-->(when it's connected 45 sec later, a double-monitor icon appears in the lower right hand of my task bar or "tray". Then it's (for me) back to Startmenu -->Firefox(icon in default browser location top left)-->Homepage(google.com in 5 sec)-->Bookmark Toolbar (BleepingComputer.com in 5 sec)Window open & done. Then I can minimize it, have it's icon-name appear in my task bar and go ahead to other sites like gmail or whatever by choosing either that Bookmark Toolbar icon row, or a dropdown menu (The full Bookmarks) or fill in a google search field .

I'm saying that "I don't ever see

the page showing up on the bar on the bottom...but is minimized to a little dot ....

or

way up in the left hand corner of my screen.

So, I explained what I do see, hoping you can maybe provide some more clues. It's a mystery to me at this point :flowers:

Window open & done.

by this I mean the full screen and the word "done" in the lower left of the bar immediately above the task bar. I guess it would be called the status bar of the "browser window", the very bottom of the full screen, anyway... let's both hope for help.
