NTLDR missing

hey,

 

Yesterday i had a non responsive program on my laptop(toshiba satellite) and i switched it off directly out of anger. upon switching it on, an error saying NTLDR file missing appeared. how can i solve this?? i think its a minor boot problem. sorry forgot to say its windows xp

 

please help

thanks a lot!! I used my windows xp cd to copy the files and it worked!!

Though I copied the files externally using a usb docking station on my HDD and it worked fine
