Hi, my pc was having some bsods lately but rebooted ok. Last night it failed to boot and havent booted normally since then. It only boots in safe mode. I have tried every option in the F8 menu, ran chkdsk and nothing worked. the exact error from startup repair says :

problem event name startuprepairoffline

problem signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385

problem signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385

problem signature 03: unknown

problem signature 04: 0

problem signature 05: autofailover

problem signature 06: 1

problem signature 07: baddriver

for what is worth i though it to be a different problem so i did a clean install of win 7 and still the same. i have read some older threads and all suggested farbar. this is the log:

Hi and welcome.

Perform a clean boot and see if you can identify the driver or application that is causing the issue.

thanks for the reply, well after a loooong day i managed to locate the error being Nvidia drivers. they created the crashes and freezes. The bsods were the  nvlddmkm.sys error. i have uninstalled all drivers with driver sweeper and installed older versions of the drivers but the were still freezes. now i have removed all drivers

Have you tried the latest drivers from nVidia?

i have tried the latest whql and beta drivers. the thing is when i remove all drivers then windows boots normally but in that stock resolution. if i install any driver, either new or old, upon restart it either hangs on post or it bsods because of nvlddmkm.sys, and i have to enter safe mode to remove the driver.

I have asked for help on this. Meanwhile, open an administrator command prompt (Start->type CMD and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter). Run the following command at the prompt:

SFC /ScanNow

Windows will check protected files for integrity.
