Hi guys,

This is a tricky one... Firefox prompts every time whether to download or open file. Check box to remember is ticked, but browser does not remember...

Have tried changing browser.helperApps.alwaysAsk.force and mimeTypes.rdf to no avail. There is are 2 lines under the browser.helperApps.alwaysAsk.force that look like they are the correct variables but I don't know where the string is that triggers them.

I don't want to delete prefs.js, not my machine.

Can anyone help please?
