After searching and reading several posts on this forum, it seems that the only way to get an evaluation of my startup programs is to post the log from Autoruns for one of the experts here to manually evaluate.  Is that true?  Is there no automated way to compare the log to the Startup Programs database and have the various flags applied?

We prefer that you do not post an autoruns log, but rather ask about specific entries.  You can always consult our Startup List and search for the various startup entries to see if they are necessary. If there are any questions about a particular entry, please ask.

As for an automated approach, this was done in the past by various products and sites but we have always felt that there was too much chance of false positives to really recommend this approach.
