My daughter totally screwed up her computer.  In trying to download an appication called Orgin.  I believe this is fron EA games  She unistalled the Mcafee antivirus program.  At sometime she downoaded and the computer got infected with Antivirus Security Program.  I followed the steps to remove this and it seems have done this.  Though everytime I run the Malware Bytes it shows that there is one trogan detected in a regisrty file.

The computer seems to be working fine except that I can not reinstall McAfee anti-virus program on the comuter.  Every time I try to install I get an error message saying the .exe file is infected.  Also, the Window 7 security is disabled so I cannot turn on windows defender and I can use system restore as the seems to be disabled.  help where do I begin to clean this mess up before I stangle my kid! :)

it's a wrong forum to post your malware-releated questions (if your pc is infected),there's another forum that fits this thread,Am I Infected?

Edit : I forgot that a mod will move this topic.
