running win8 pro

4 gb ram

64 bit

intel core 2 duo

avg internet security 2013

for two weeks, started having problems with java download. while playing games on pogo, games wouldn't play because of flash player and couldn't get it downloaded.

then today, ie, firefox, and chrome started crashing and now the os crashes.

my wife's son installed 8 about two months ago on her computer. to me, it seemed not quiet right and seems to have gotten worse as time went by.

we ran the installation disk to reinstall but now it crashes in a few ninutes after it boots.

Was it established beforehand that this computer would be compatible with Windows 8?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
